New York, NY – Leila Heller Gallery is delighted to announce the solo exhibition Ran Hwang: Noble Blossoms, opening on 20 April 2026.
Ran Hwang’s multimedia practice explores the ephemeral beauty of nature. The large-scale sculptures in Noble Blossoms balance a meticulous attention to detail and invite the viewer to look closer. The buttons, beads, and crystals in each work shimmer with light and movement, transforming the space they occupy throughout the day. Falling petals, birds in flight and cherry blossoms assemble to construct an image of change and resilience. Each element is carefully placed, like a petal within a larger composition shaped by repetition and focus, echoing the discipline and mindfulness of Zen Buddhism.
