Marking the artist’s first collection in white marble, the presentation brings together sculptural benches and a cube that explore the relationship between architectural geometry and organic growth.
In I’m Divine Like You, Shamekh’s signature artichoke flowers wrap around solid geometric forms, transforming functional objects into sculptural compositions. The contrast between the structured volumes and their unfolding botanical surfaces creates a dialogue between stillness and movement, precision and irregularity. Carved in white marble, the floral forms emerge through shifting light and shadow, inviting viewers to move around the works and experience their changing contours.
Conceived for both indoor and outdoor settings, the collection places contemplation at the centre of everyday use. The benches offer a place to pause while inviting a tactile encounter with the carved surfaces. Through the interplay of ornament, material, and structure, Shamekh brings sculpture and functional design into close conversation, revealing how an object can inhabit a space as both a practical presence and a work of art.
