About the Artist

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Calla Fleischer began her journey behind the lens at the age of 12 when her father gave her a camera. Since then, she has lived and traveled across five continents, building a body of work that reflects the quiet truths and unseen moments of humanity. Her photography spans portraiture, street scenes, and intimate documentary work, shaped by years of mentorship with renowned photographers and her own deeply personal approach to storytelling. Now dividing her time between New Hampshire, New York, California, and Portugal, Calla continues to explore the human experience through her lens—always chasing light, connection, and the untold stories that bring us closer to understanding one another.
